Bible Study will resume September 13, 2018
Beginning Thursday, September 13th (at either 10:00am or 7:00pm) I will be doing a series that I call Walking the Bible. One of the opportunities I have had over the years is the privilege of actually visiting the Holy Land. It has been the most powerful, life-changing event in my life. When I was there my thoughts were, “I wish I could have brought my church people with me.” For over four years now I have led many Bible studies, and now I would like for you to actually see the places where they happened. We will start where Moses started, in Egypt. What is it like to climb Mt. Sinai where he received the Ten Commandments? We will see a bush at the foot of the mountain that some claim grew out of the seedlings of the original burning bush that Moses saw. We will travel over the rugged Sinai desert and visit the pyramids and sphinx. Then cross the Nile River to the Valley of the Kings, and see their tombs and their great temples, and much more. Throughout the year we will move into Jordan, then Israel, and then retrace the steps of St. Paul through Turkey and Greece.
