We closed with the Lord’s Prayer.
May God bless you at Easter,
And keep you all year through.
May God give you all the faith it takes,
To make your dreams come true.
May His love and wisdom always help,
To guide you on your way.
May His light shine down upon you now,
To bless your Easter Day.
Wishing you a blessed and joyful Easter!
It’s time for the annual cemetery clean-up. Please remove your old decorations by the end of April so the cemetery board can prepare for Memorial Day. Also, anyone interested in serving on the cemetery board, please contact Myron Jones at 724 854-3220 for further details. Thanks so very much.
We have some great news…Donna Ekis has agreed to go on our Church Council for the next three years. How wonderful is that. We want to thank her for going the extra mile and signing up to help. Her expertise and knowledge will be greatly received.
We also want to thank Marlene Sypolt for not only providing a quality Sunday School experience for our children, deciding to have a really fun time finding Easter eggs at their Easter Egg Hunt but for instructing Astyn Antel, Ariana Cutter, Makayla Foltz, Paulie Jones, Leo Kuchmak, Kaleb Lowry, Grace Pringle, Brady Spon, and Maddex Tomko on what it means to take Holy Communion and all the reasons they should do so as Lutherans. Then in celebration of this very special happening she is supplying everyone who attends Palm Sunday service a delicious cupcake to take home and enjoy with family. Thank you so very much Marlene for all you do that comes straight from your heart. We would be remiss if we didn’t thank her daughter Erin and all our Sunday School teachers and helpers as well. We are so very blessed here at Holy Trinity. Thank You!
“May You have…
The gladness of Easter which is hope.
The promise of Easter which is Peace
The Spirit of Easter which is Love.”
To keep our community and church safe,
Healthy and thriving, face coverings are required to be worn.
If you forget your face covering, we have complimentary masks available. They are on the table in a box in our narthex.
Please be advised that the office will be closed on Easter Monday, April 5, 2021.
Here are some of the organizations we continue to sponsor…
World Hunger-the first Sunday of every month we have “Loose Change for World Hunger” in our offering plates. We are currently one of the most giving congregations in the ELCA.
Joshua’s Haven-We have an ongoing collection of items they need and when the tote is full Stephanie Banjak sees to it that Joshua’s gets the items.
American Red Cross-The American Red Cross uses our Fellowship Hall twice a month, the first and third Thursday of the month to have a blood collection drive to help victims of catastrophic emergencies and to keep the blood banks full in the area hospitals.
Camera Club– Three times a month our local club meet in our Fellowship Hall to explore new and different ways to take pictures of everything from animals to pretty flowers. Walter Cowan along with Bob Rehner are some of the members of this unique club. They are always looking for new members to join them. Talk to Walter Cowan if you are interested.
Jesus Calling…Sarah Young
I am with you. These four words are like a safety net, protecting you from falling into despair. Because you are human, you will always have ups and downs in your life experience. But the promise of My presence limits how far down you can go. Sometimes you may feel as if you are in a free fall, when people or things you had counted on let you down. Yet as soon as you remember that I am with you,
Your perspective changes radically. Instead of bemoaning your circumstances, you can look to Me for help. You recall that not only am I with you; I am holding you by your right hand. I guide you with my counsel, and afterward I will take you into Glory. This is exactly the perspective you need: the reassurance of My Presence and the glorious hope of Heaven.

Add a drop of green food color to the frosting to liven up your pretty Easter Cake!
A blonde motorist was about two hours from San Diego when she was flagged down by a man whose truck had broken down. The man asked, “Are you going to San Diego?” “Sure,” answered the blonde, “do you need a lift?” “Not for me. I’ll be spending the next three hours fixing my truck. My problem is I’ve got two chimpanzees in the back of my truck which have to be taken to the San Diego Zoo. Could you possibly take them to the zoo for me? I’ll give you $100 for your trouble.”
“I’d be happy to,” said the blonde. So the two chimpanzees were ushered into the back seat of the blonde’s car and off they went.
Five hours later, the truck driver was driving through the heart of San Diego when suddenly he saw the blonde walking down the street and holding hands with the two chimps. He pulled off the road and ran over to the blond. “What the heck are you doing here?” he demanded, “I gave you $100.00 to take these chimpanzees to the zoo.”
“Yes, I know you did.” Said the blonde, “but we had money left over—so now we’re going to Sea World.”
Thank you Mike Boldish for this really cute joke. It is a real knee slapper.
